MANDay 48: How To Pack For A Short Trip
Hellurr friends!! *cleans cobweb*. It’s been a little quiet and I understand because I pretty much pack you all to the YouTube channel every moment I get. If you don’t already know, Ursula Sebastine is now on YouTube! Before we go any further, let me just serenade you with this soulful number, Never Be The Same. Ok maybe not too soulful but it’s a beautiful tune.
So I shared a story on the YouTube channel some days ago on how my father tormented me when I was in junior secondary. If you want to hear that story you should totally go watch the last video!
Gentlemen, how do you pack when you want to go on a short trip? I know it’s almost normal for men to travel light. Women are the ones who move around with the world in their bags. It usually is a little more straight forward with the men. However, a few tips help me pack efficiently.
- I lay out my essentials the night before. I have noticed that when I pack the night before, I have slimmer chances of forgetting anything I need. I walk through my process, right from when I wake up, to when I leave the house and then throw in the things I’ll need in the bag. That way, I don’t miss anything.
- I fold my clothes in rolls. Most times all the things we need can fit into a backpack if we properly fold them. The classic example of backpacks in Nigeria is the Jansport bag. It has a healthy amount of compartments and can surely fit most of your essentials for a short trip.
For more on how I pack, you should watch the video!
Interestingly, you could take part in the giveaway and win yourself one of these cool bags.
If you’re planning a trip, travelstart is definitely on standby with cheap flights to make the entire process as seamless as possible. Don’t forget your jansport bag though. *winks*.
Have a lovely week!
